Obituary for Bernard Macken
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bernard (Barney) Macken, Beloved Husband of the late Gloria Macken on December 22, 2022 at home after a courageous battle with IPF.
He will be greatly missed by his Loving Partner Dolores Arnott, his children Laura Ortiz (Edwin), Bernard Macken (Christine), and Shannon Smith (Ryan). He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Scott (Jessica), Brad (Jodi), Jake, Erin, Kaylie , Lyndsay as well as his Great Grandchildren Austin, Tristan, Zachary and Savannah. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday January 4th at 12:00 P.M. with an hour of visitation prior at Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division St, Bowmanville, ON L1C 2Z1. If so desired in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation ( cpff.ca ).
