His kind, gentle soul was peacefully called home on May, 27, 2021 in his 78th year. Devoted husband to Betty. Loving father to Nancy Lawson (Joe) and Ivy (Steve) Yandt. Cherished papa to Lauren and Dylan. Pre-deceased by parents Allan and Peggy Lawson. Dear brother of Linda, Sandra and Patricia. Fondly remembered for his kind nature, love of animals and many stories from the road as a veteran truck driver. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. We are deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. Our deepest condolences to Aunt Betty and the family and know that our thoughts are with you at this sad time. I will cherish all the wonderful memories when Uncle Bill would visit at the farm and the experience he gave me traveling with him in his transports. He took pride in his trucks which always sparkled when he went to work. I will never forget the time we stopped at this restaurant that sold French fries, they were the largest fries I have ever seen, no words were needed when he gave that grin. Not many would trust someone driving their vehicle but at age 16. Uncle Bill having drove his transport all day, needing sleep, actually trusted me driving his standard truck from Orangeville back to the farm one night. I am lucky to have some great memories. May you RIP, you will be greatly missed.

Hard to remember a time when Bill wasn’t a part of the family. His quiet presence, his meticulous attention to anything he did at home or on the road, his smile when he enjoyed something or someone will always be what we remember first. He will be greatly missed. All our love and support is with you Betty, the girls and their families❤️ Hold on to your memories of his love for you!
