March 12, 1921 – January 27, 2021
Passed away peacefully on January 27, 2021 at Glen Hill Strathaven Long Term Care, Bowmanville. Beloved mother of Carolyn Wilson (Lloyd), Linda Carter (deceased) and Deb McDonald. Cherished grandmother to Jeff (Erin) and Paul Woodlock and Riley and Will Carter. Loving great grandmother to Quinn, Morgan and Cameron.
She is pre-deceased by her parents Joseph and Mabel Cowling, son-in-law John Carter and all of her siblings; Stanley, William, Audrey Snowden, Harley, Irene Tabb, Lily Smith, George, Murray, Hilda Ford and Fred (Jiggs).
Born and raised in Bowmanville she touched many lives with her kindness and generosity.
A sincere thank you to the staff at Glen Hill Strathaven for their wonderful care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life with be held at a later date. Donations to Glen Hill Strathaven Long Term Care or Bowmanville Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Carolyn and family,
So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. I called my Aunt Gwen (Tennant) to let her know. She is 97 and doing well.
