It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our much loved
mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Dorothy Elizabeth Snowden
lived a full and rich life passing at 92 with family by her side. Predeceased
by her beloved husband Joseph and parents Isaac and Emily(Dobson) Hardy and her
dear brother Stanley. Survived by brother in law Jim Pengelly.
Joe and Dorothy married on September 30, 1950 and raised two children, Bruce
(Donna) and Sheryl (Bill). The light in Dorothy’s life were her grandchildren
Zak (Kayt), Madi, and Kassi. Gma was always quietly cheering on the sidelines
at 4-H shows, soccer, baseball, and hockey games.
Mom was always up for a good Saturday morning breakfast with family or treats
at the coffee shop with Eileen and friends.
Dorothy has been lucky to see her first great grand child Annie grow into an
active wee toddler and this brought Mom much joy.
Dorothy was a dedicated and hard working life time member of Eldad United
Church, Solina Women’s Institute, and the Community of Solina.
Special thanks to the team at Streamway Villa who showered mom with love and
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to remember Dorothy with a donation we would like

family about Type 1 diabetes or Eldad United Church.
Mom you will be dearly missed but we are comforted that you are dancing with Dad

We are so sorry to hear about her passing. We would often see her and mrs Knox out for dinners together. My dad would often give her a kiss on the cheek when he would see her. She was related and a good friend of the Allin’s and a good friend of the McKnights. Mum is so sad too. Our thoughts are with all of you at this sad time. Karen and Ken Allin and jean McKnight

So sorry to hear of Dorthy's passing.Dorothy always had a kind word to say and a warm smile to share whenever you met her. I was so fortunate to grow up in Solina where all the ladies cared so much that they felt like second Moms . Know she will be missed by many.May your wonderful memories of Mom,Grandma and Great Grandma be your strength in the days and years to come. Karen[Yellowlees] and Don Dair

We will miss Dorothy's smile, hugs, love and affection that she showed not only to her neighbours, but to the entire community of Solina. How lucky of us to have had such an amazing Bradley's Corners heritage. Sending love to all of you and to Dorothy, dancing in heaven. With love, the Knox Family.
