The last few days have been hard. I miss my grandpa. It's difficult to grasp I will not be able to pick the phone up and call you or come up for a visit. I am immeasurably grateful we were able to connect the past few years and have such a loving and beautiful relationship. Most of my fondest childhood memories were spent with you at the house in crooked creek. You and grandma always made sure Neil and I were happy and taken care of. Always a plentiful amount of laughter and endless supply of love.. Lots of fun spent outdoors in the yard, fishing, visiting one of the million cousins of the family (LOL) or even just relaxing watching TV. You knew how much I loved cats, so you adopted a cat for me and named him Boots! Though time goes by ever so quickly, one thing is for sure - I will cherish these memories forever.
You taught me to be a strong willed, resilient woman who is still gentle and kind to others. Your generosity, love and acceptance of me was unconditional and unwavering. Thank you for being part of my life grandpa. I love you and I will miss you.

Love,

Kelsey

Dear Donny, Marilyn & Julie -
Your Dad was a Wonderful and Exceptional Gentleman. An Extremely Loving Husband to Your Sainted Mother, an Extraordinary Dad to All 3 of You, A Deeply Caring Father-in-Law & Grandpa to Duncan, Carol, Neil, Kelsey, Ryan and Ian and A Loyal Friend to All Who Had the Privilege of Knowing him. All These Outstanding Qualities are the True Measure of a Man.
Our Mother, Bernice, absolutely loved Jack & Jean, as did Our Brother Stephen and, of course Kevin, Rosemary & I.
May it provide a little comfort to know he is holding your Mom so tightly in Heaven and Is In Glory with Our Lord Jesus Christ, Our Blessed Mother Mary, and All The Angels and Saints and by All Those Souls Who Love Him.
With Our Deepest Sympathy & All Our Love,
Joan, Kevin & Rosemary

Donny, my thoughts are with you Carol, Ryan and Ian.

I had the privilege of spending time with your dad at a few hockey tournaments and also at your house. Jack was so full of life, more so than many half his age, and he was kind, funny and great to be around.

His zest for life and friendliness is alive and well with you and your boys. It was a pleasure to know you. Cheers and Rest In Peace Jack.
