Of her many awards, she was overjoyed to receive the YWCA Women of Distinction, and the national Agnes Amelia Blizard Award for Volunteering.
As per Elizabeth’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent care Elizabeth received from the Personal Support Workers at HomeInstead, the Palliative Care Unit of the Central East LHIN, especially Cassandra Kahrs of VHA, and the Bayshore Healthcare nurses.
