Jamie Douglas  Caswell
CASWELL, JAMIE DOUGLAS – Scouter Jamie “Bagheera” of the 21st Oshawa Scouts. 30 year employee of Hewitt Material Handling. Passed away peacefully at home at the age of 52 surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 14, 2017 after a courageous battle with ALS. Jamie never let this disease destroy his personality or spirit. Devoted husband of Debbie (Teevens - Caswell). Loving father of Tyler, Justin, Alexa and step-father to Sam and Nolan. Cherished son of Marjorie and the late Jim Caswell. Dear brother of Phil, Rod, Paul (Christine) and the late Brenda McNair (Stan). Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins and countless youth of Scouts Canada. A visitation will be held at the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the Morris Chapel on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Bond Head Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at Camp Samac, Council Hall, 275 Conlin Road E. Oshawa (use Conlin Road entrance) on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 5 – 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to the ALS Society of Canada.
