Kilpatrick, William “Bill” – WWII Veteran; 70 year Member of Bowmanville Legion Branch 178
Peacefully at Bowmanville Hospital on Thursday January 12, 2017. Beloved husband of Kay (d.1977). Dear father of Paul, Terry and the late Stephen. Cherished grandpa of Michelle, Derek, Shannon, Michael, Katie, Kimberly and Kyle. Big Poppa to Ava, Amelia, Bella, James, Sophie and William.
Bill was a member of the Shriners club, a 32 degree Mason, active member of the Kinsmen K40 and past chairman of the Bowmanville hospital board. He was very well known in his community and has left a lasting legacy with all of his family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday January 23, 2017 at St. John’s Anglican Church,
11 Temperance Street, Bowmanville at 11 am with a visitation period an hour prior. Reception to follow at the church. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation through Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division Street Bowmanville, with whom the arrangements have been entrusted.
