Allen, Leslie Judson – Retired supervisor from General Motors Oshawa truck plant, 36 years of service.
Born April 5, 1935 in Yarmouth Nova Scotia, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, November 4, 2016. Beloved husband and best friend of Viola (Alldread). Son of the late Judson and Ruth Allen. Loved father of Earl (Donna) Allen, Valerie Allen, Kelly Allen, and Steve (Jennifer) Allen. Loved step-father of Anne Marie (Gary) Vaughan, Darryl (Darlene) Hurlburt, Kevin (Catherine) Hurlburt. Pre-deceased by his step-son Dwayne Hurlburt who is survived by his wife Susan. Loving grandfather to 13 wonderful grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Beloved brother of Betty (Roy) Hanf; predeceased by Carol Roberts who is survived by her husband Ronnie. He will be dearly missed by many in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held at the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service complete in the Morris Chapel on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heather Rebekah Lodge # 334 Orono, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of choice.
