Condolence From: Rick and Wendy Porteous
Condolence: Rick was a dear friend. Over the years we played hockey games together, enjoyed numerous coffees and took a few road trips. We cut down trees and planted gardens, all the while enjoying the accompanying lively conversations. Rick's friendship will be missed. Our thoughts go out to Maggie and his family.

Condolence From: Tammie Luxton
Condolence: The last 5 yrs of my Dads life his Dementia had taken over. His memory was fading, and he wasn't able to be alone at all. Through all his struggle and at times of pain, he never complained. He was a happy loving soul, very content and lived day by day with whatever came his way. He loved his boats, cars, outdoors, nature, camping, his Motorbikes, and of course his beloved garage....if those walls could talk.. But most of all he loved and cherished his family. His family was his world...it showed in his eyes every time we visit, and his smile.. Or just by him saying " Hey you!" I was very lucky to have a lifetime of memories with him, and I'll cherish that forever. We love you Dad, and we will miss you terribly, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and every day life will never be the same. As hard as it is to let you go, I know you are free again. No more pain, frustration, being scared, and most of all losing your independence which I know was the hardest for you. May you fly high Dad, be free, be happy! Just send me a "WINK " every once in a while...as I will to you. Love you Forever and Always, one proud Daughter, Tammie xoxoxo
