Obituary for Eleanor Armstrong (Konopacki)

Eleanor Catherine Armstrong
October 12, 1937 - April 11, 2017

Eleanor passed away suddenly at the age of 79 on April 11, 2017 at Sunnybrook hospital in Toronto, Ontario due to heart complications.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 57 years, Larry Armstrong and their two children Robbie and Lori. She is also survived by her two brother's Bill and Bob and predeceased by her brother Fred.
Eleanor was also the grandmother to Nolan, Devan, Lauren and Justin as well as a great grandmother to Calvin and Carson.

Eleanor spent most of her time raising her two children and enjoying her many crafts. Eleanor was a talented lady who could sew, knit, embroider, crochet and quilt. Her passion was paper tole art and machine knitting. Her talent was so valued, she taught both these techniques to many women in her local community. Her works of art are on the walls in many homes.
Eleanor was also president of her local knitting club. She will be sadly missed by many.

There will be a memorial service held at Morris Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 17, 2017. 4 Division St, Bowmanville, ON. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm with a service to commence directly after.

Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to either Sunnybrook Hospital or Rouge Valley Centenary Hospital. The family would like to acknowledge the doctor's and nurse's in both these hospitals for the dedication and care they took of Eleanor.
